So I have been meaning to purchase a new purse now for about 8 months as my last one has been falling to pieces slowly day by day in my bag due to the size being so small. Who buys a small purse in the first place!? Me of course!
Me and my husband got a chance of a little get away last week, even though I was working, we got a chance to spend 4 days in San Francisco, California ( which I will be blogging about soon ). We got to do all the tourist fun of course but as I get the chance to spend a lot of time there I know how great the shopping can be, so I knew we had to hit the Westfield mall on Union Square.
A purse was my only mission that day and I knew I wanted to go bigger then high street but wasn't sure which designer to opt for... there was just so much choice. I can't go out buying designer handbags and purses or whatever the product may be all the time, for me its not very often, so when I am given a choice between them it can be overwhelming!
So how did I come to buying this Tory Burch? Well once I had shopped in Nordstrom and Macys and found nothing I liked except the ones that were way out of budget (I will get my Louis V one day!), I found myself wondering into Tory Burch on the lower level of the mall. I am a big Tory Burch shoe fan, especially the flip flops and booties, so decided to have a look at the collection. It turns out it was only the accessories store, and thats where I found her laying. My new Robinson wristlet.
Your probably thinking its not even an actual purse, which its not, but let me explain why I went for this instead of a normal purse. I hate loose change! I hate it when it just floats around my purse, I never use it and it always ends up making everything bulky. Whenever I get change I try to put it straight into the penny pot, so as this purse has no where to put change hopefully my penny pot will fill up nice and fast. My favourite reason for this purse is the smartphone pocket. I only use a handbag if I am out for the whole day or working. But if I am popping to town, meeting friends for coffee or round a family members for dinner, when I leave the house I have purse, phone and keys in tow, nothing else. So for me personally this will make my life easier by slipping my phone in my purse, popping the wrist strap around my wrist ( the added bonus of not dropping it or losing it ), grabbing my keys and away I go.
I have gone for a light dusty pink or better known as Pale Apricot on the website, due to the fact it is such a spring colour and I just love it! I would have opted for a white or cream if they did it but I'm still so in love with this colour and the feel of the leather is amazing, so soft. I feel so cleansed and organised now with my new purchase and knowing the cost will make me look after it a whole lot more, or that may be wishful thinking!
This purchase has defiantly made me fall in love with Tory Burch all over again!
